What is Liberty?   The 1828 dictionary defines liberty as free to act without coercion or force and civil liberty only allows laws that  ”…restrain every man from injuring or controlling another.  Hence the restraints of law are essential to civil liberty.”

“The natural liberty of man is to be free from any superior power on Earth, and not to be under the will or legislative authority of man, but only to have the law of nature for his rule.”  -Samuel Adams

What percentage of the worlds population in history has been blessed with the liberty and accompanying economic blessings of prosperity that come with it? Most of the people in the history of the world have lived under oppression and tyranny. The amount of time you spend on defending the liberty of others is directly related to your appreciation of this rare and precious blessing and gift from our Creator. Is it not? How valuable is freedom to you?  How important is it that your children are blessed with liberty?
